CrankBrothers Candy X is the base model of the Candy series. It's a two-sided pedal with four-sided entry, with no kick plates. The Candy X is Crank Brothers' minimalist pedal. No fancy logos on the side or distracting colors, just a blacked-out pedal body, polished steel retention rings and a gold spring for a little color. It's a no- frills design for the company that started the first no-frills pedal, the eggbeater. Now the Candy joins the ranks. Specs: Weight - 308 grams per pair; Spindle - forged scm435 chrome steel; Body - fiber composite; Wings - formed s45c carbon steel; Spring - 300 series stainless steel; End Cap - aluminum; Standard Cleat - premium brass; Release Angle - 15 or 20 degrees; Shims included.
