Bicycle: Pedals Won’t Move When I Try To Cycle Forwards?

hI,
I have set up a new folding bicycle.
However the pedals won't move when I try to cycle forwards?
Do you know what I have done wrong. The pedals move when I want to go backwards.
Thanks,

Make sure you are in a low gear. Pick up the rear of the bike and try moving the pedals. The pedals need to be moving in order to change gears.
Try this.http://sheldonbrown.com/starting.html
Start out on a slight downgrade.
to start
be in a low [easy] gear
stand with both feet on the ground
turn pedals backwards til they are parallel to the ground
one will be forwards, one to the rear
on the forward one, place that foot on the pedal
now put your weight on that foot, the bike will move forward, now get up and sit on the saddle, the other pedal will soon be forwards, push it down, and you;re off

I wish the last remaining Cabfoward was running, why wont someone try to, I mean UP Should do it
Classic. LoL
If the effect pedal has a battery in it, then it's active. Period. End of discussion.
There's no such thing as hooking up effects passively or actively. I think your buddy has his terminology confused.
You can hook effects up in series or parallel. In series, you just plug one into and another, and then to the amp. In parallel, you have to have a way to split the output of the guitar signal, send it to all of the effect inputs, then send all of the effects to a mixer to recombine the signal.
You normally only see a parallel effects setup in big rack systems.
As to whether you run the effects in front of the amp or in the effects loop…that depends on the effect. Time based effects (delay, reverb, chorus, phasing and flanging) tend to work best in the effects loop. Gain modifiers (distortion, fuzz, boost) should be in front of the amp, between your guitar and the amp input. Wah pedals should be there as well, but other tone modifiers (like and EQ) can go in either location.
Compressors and pitch shifters need to be in front of the amp. Noise gates can go in either location.
Good luck.

The most important thing after the cell cycle is that both daughter cells contain the same genetic information as the parent cell. So long as this is true, if one daughter cell has 10 mitochondria and the other one has 8, that doesn't matter – the one with less can produce 2 more mitochondria based on the information contained in the genome that it received from the parent.
Cadence: as seen here on this one and many others out there.
reminds me of micheal schenker (scorpions) he too had that ability. Gus G of firewind can do it as well(although in a heavy metal genre)
Just move your mouse to the right of the screen and keep going until it shows up on the 2nd monitor, to move stuff, downsize the window and click the top bar and drag it over to your 2nd monitor. Hope this helped??

i thought you l rock the universaty! Rock the irish place man! Come on dude! Move yo' ass!
You could consider for this problem, the bike is stationary and the boy pushes himself off at a velocity of 3.5 m/sec. The resulting recoil (Newton's 3rd.) will propel the bicycle and girl forward at a decided rate. Finally, just add 3.5 to the answer.
As you have not given masses for the bike, the girl, and the boy, the only answer here would be a formula.
I think you can do that.
“Ha! Smart! That schtick won’t work so well next year, but it’s cool anyway.”

What the fuck is up with his face the entire video? Looks like he’s going to cry.
Brilliant!
Isn't that a mattress? Won't let you because mattresses can't talk. .
“I completely agree they aren’t trying to move us all forwards as much as they’re trying to defend what they have. It’s not surprising but sad nonetheless.”
I hope I won't go To Finland on that weekend… I have already made my plans…

Since you are getting the Boss DS-1, here are some modifications that you can have done to this pedal. Check this out and enjoy.

to move them out is very simple my friend, please dont fret. Simply go to the main page and click the button "move family". then click the family you want to move and they will appear in the family bin. Then make sure that they have enough money for the bigger house and they are set to go! remember, once they move all personal belonings and awards and such will be lost. you could always add additions on to the house if you wish, thats what i do to save space and simelions. hope i helped! I am a sims freak myself!
I'm guessing but, assuming I understand the issue, it sounds like a bottom bracket issue. I don't know what type of bottom bracket you have, so it's difficult to be precise. But I assume you either hit something with one of the cranks, forcing it to rotate on the bottom bracket spindle (it was probably already a bit loose), or the cranks became loose and have rotated on the spindle. If you are lucky you can loosen the crank and move it back into place on the spindle … but more likely you have rounded off the spindle end and/or the crank mounting hole and will need a new bottom bracket and/or at least one crank arm.
Since bottom brackets are designed NOT to do this I can't imagine how you managed … but, take it to a local bike shop and get a pro opinion.
