Every time the pedals go through a 360° rotation on a certain bicycle, the tires rotate three times. If the tires are 24 inches in diameter, what is the minimum number of complete rotations of the pedals needed for the bicycle to travel at least 1 mile?

It depends on how fast the bike is moving.
Oh come on, you got this. Find the circumference of the wheel and you can figure out how far three wheel rotations will take you. Then you can figure out how many pedal rotations it will take to get you 5280 feet. Also there is a homework section if you want someone to just give you the answer but then you are going to ask for every question
This is a simple homework question, find the circumference of the tire and figure out how many times it needs to turn to go a mile. You will never learn by having someone else do your work.
5280 x 12 is 63360 inches in a mile
63360/24/pi=840revolutions of the tire
840/3=280.25
