If they use an internal genarator won’t they turn off when I stop at an intersection? Is the resistance caused by the genarator noticable?

Toyota Motor Corp said on Thursday it will recall millions more vehicles in the United States, its second massive recall in four months, this time to fix potentially faulty accelerator pedals. The newest recall, affecting 2.3 million vehicles, marked an acknowledgment that potential problems with dangerous acceleration on Toyota vehicles run deeper than the automaker had first announced and broadened a recall that already ranked as its largest ever. The recalls have damaged Toyota’s reputation for market-leading quality and safety at a time when the automaker’s U.S. sales remain under pressure. Toyota had previously maintained that there was no evidence of a mechanical fault linked to reports of unintended acceleration that prompted the recall of about 4.2 million vehicles last year.

maybe he means the pedals are more or less deformed… before i had clipless pedals on my MTB, the pedals i had were metal so over time they became misshapen from hiting rocks and roots….if that is the problem get new pedals
lie your ass down on a mat. bring knees up so its perpendicular to the floor. raise your legs so they are parallel to the floor. then pretend you are riding a bike. then bring your chest up with your hands behind your head. then right elbow to left knee while you are cycling and vise versa.

Wow you seem to know a lot Anarcho and yes it is very hard to go up hills but, fixed gear bikes (single speed) are mainly used for training purposes and on a track or velodrome. They get good rhythm into your legs and as Anarcho said, they help improve power in your legs as you can not stop peddling.
So if you want to train up and get nice calf muscles use a fixed gear bike.
