I have a 2005 Specialized Sirrus bike.I need new pedals since the plastic ones it came with broke.
But are all pedals the same size? Can you link me to proper pedals on amazon or similar site that cost about $20?
Thank

US $45.00

Any pair of 9/16 pedals will work. Look at http://www.performancebike.com/bikes/Product_10052_10551_1033474_-1_1501500_20000_400048
You can get a good pair of steel platform pedals for about $15 at a local bike shop. You don’t have to pay shipping. Two hints:
1. Put some grease on the male threads before installing the pedal. You will be glad that you did.
2. The right pedal has the usual right-to-tighten thread. The left pedal has a left-to-tighten thread.

All pedals are pretty much universal exept for a few 1980s bmx bikes. So you do not need to worry about pedal sizes.
That bike will use the standard 9/16″ pedals. You should try a set of pedals with clips. You can get a set of metal Wellgo pedals with clips for less then $20. If you don’t like the clips you can take them off.
