Why Can You Exert A Greater Force On The Pedals Of A Bicycle If You Pull Up The Handlebars?

This is a physics question that relates to Newton's Third Law. Any help would be appreciated!

When you apply an upward force on the handles, the bike applies a downward force on you and you can transfer it to the pedals. So the “bike” applies a force to the pedals,
i love this song i know every word
Bicycle Workshops – Maintenance and Emergency Repairs , 7th Feb 2010 New World Park, 8:00am to 9:30am
see when the frictional force acts on the tyre while turning then the car body tries to push the car out of track but this frictional force keeps the car in the track by creating a ooposite force eventually overcoming the centrifugal force of the car body…
as we know that centripetal force force and centrifugal force act kind of in opposite way so, as centrifugal force tries to tkae the car away from the track, the centripetal force(created by the tyres) keeps the car in track…
if you like the ans then plz give a best answer….
thanks with love
i could be wrong, but i think there are 2 adjusters on the tensioner pulley. one is on a spring loaded cam, and the other is on a pivot and a elongated slide hole in the bearing. get a manual if you insist on doing it yourself. if you get something wrong, you could cause major engine damage, so get a step by step manual on this repair, and follow it carefully. a little extra time and money will save a huge headache later.
the equilibrium condition requires that the vertical component of the force N exerted by the road balances the weight, whereas the horizontal component gives the centripetal acceleration needed to racing on a circle
then
N*sin(theta)=m*v^2/R
N*cos(theta)=mg
therefore
v^2/(Rg)=tg(theta)
v= sqrt(Rg*tg(theta))=7,3 m/s <—- or 26,3 km/h
- Nice. But something looks wrong with the pedals

This child was called from birth and God is using him at an earily age to bring many into is kingdom may older people won’t listen to God’s call.Jesus was found Preaching in the temple as a child so it’s in the bible.”And a child shall lead them.”
What are the words in the video? Love it, but wish I could understand it…
Yes, look on the left. There is a little red button, just push that. If it is not there, than look on the bottom, there should be a green one there. I know cause I have one. I had the same troubles too.

Idealism is for children(proof of golden heart though). It's normal that when you reach a certain age it weakens (or as you say "sacrifices") into realism so you can actually achieve something with it…
You are growing up, tiny grasshopper!
With gas pedals that stick, brakes that don't work, and the volatile nature of batteries, Prius based destruction derby would be Awesome.

Haha, cool story bro. Awesome that you actually experienced these guys when they where around, before the golden age of the VCR. The best bit from Piranha Brothers is of course DINSDALE!
Metallica hasn’t made a decent album since 1986. there sell-out but they cant even out-sell maiden. metallica doesnt deserve to be mentioned in the same sentance with maiden.

This is Jimmy Jablon. This is his motorcycle. He is going to raffle it off at a ceremony in Florida where a 22-year-old girl dives into a pool of live ‘gators. What more do you need to know? Not much, as it turns out: The motorcycle was assembled by 60-year-old Swedish craftsman Benny Ohrman over the course of twelve months and at a cost of roughly $80,000. It contains the skin and skull of one Florida alligator; the animal was caught by Florida wildlife authorities as part of of an effort to combat overpopulation. The alligator, which was originally ten feet long, had to be soaked in Ohrman’s swimming pool for three weeks before it could be molded onto the bike. The skin is detachable, but the head is permanently affixed to the handlebars. Gauges live in the back of the skull, and an Ultima V-twin provides power. Raffle tickets cost $100, and only 1000 will be sold. (You can purchase tickets here.) The winner will be decided in what is quite possibly the most amazingly awesome…
